Businessman Ernest Arthur confirmed Cape Coast MCE                       

A 37 year-old businessman, Ernest Arthur, has been confirmed as Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Cape Coast. 

Mr Arthur polled 99% of total votes cast. 

Mr. Arthur, who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Cape Coast South, promised to propel more developments for the people. 

Our Central Region Correspondent, Kofi Sakyiama Pobi who monitored the event, said Joel Eshun, was early on elected Presiding Member.
