Government asked to engage all stakeholders in ECG concession deal The President of the Public Utilities Workers Union, Michael Adumatta Nyantakyi, says the union is waiting for the details of the review made on the conditions surrounding the privatisation of the Electricity Company of Ghana. He tells Radio Ghana that although President Akufo-Addo in his May Day address made some pronouncements, the Union cannot give a definite position on the issue as it is not privy to the details. Mr Adumatta Nyantakyi lauded government's decision to review the contract describing it as a step in the right direction. Mr. Adumatta Nyantakyi also said Ghanaians should not expect immediate reduction in tariffs when the deal comes into force. GBC
