The Daily Graphic associates itself with President Akufo-Addo's condemnation of negative workplace attitudes across the country, such as lateness to work and using working hours for private work. The paper says such behaviours must not be countenanced under any circumstances. The Graphic also shares in the view of the Trades Union Congress that joblessness among the youth is a great challenge, and is hopeful that some government policies already started will solve the problem. 

The Ghanaian Times calls on civil servants to refrain from working to please politicians and instead work professionally to achieve national development objectives. The paper says there have been complaints in the past about public and civil servants being in bed with politicians but the law demands that they remain neutral and discharge their duties professionally. The Times says that situation affects, cohesion, unity and the smooth running of institutions. The paper therefore urges public and civil servants to remain neutral at all times.

The Daily Heritage congratulates worker for their sacrifices and toils to make mother Ghana a better place to be. The paper says the low salaries and bad working conditions have not discouraged Ghanaian workers from giving off their best. The paper urges government to fulfil its promise to create more jobs through the private sector to ease the undue pressure on the public sector and make the life of public and civil servants better. It encourages workers to be happy and work harder for the nation's growth.
