2016 Election Observers to obtain accreditation from EC

The Electoral Commission (EC) says anybody who wants to observe the 2016 elections should first seek accreditation from the Commission.

The Deputy Chairperson in Charge of Corporate Services at the EC Georgina Opoku Amankwah who made this known said anybody who does not seek accreditation will not be allowed to observe the election. 

Madam Opoku Amankwah was speaking at the signing of an MOU with the European Union.

The MOU is to seek clearance from the EC before the Union sends its observer missions to the country to monitor this year’s polls.
