Patronage of E-Portal for transactions low 

Patronage of the Registrar General’s Department E-Portal for transactions has been discouraging since it was launched last year.
 
For instance only one person attempted registering through the portal in the Ashanti region last year.
 
The Department has therefore intensified its campaign to create awareness and increase patronage.
 
Speaking at a sensitization forum at Wa, Chief State Attorney at the Registrar General’s Department in Kumasi, Nana Ama Akyiaa Prempeh said the E-Portal has come to stay and that people need to adopt to it in spite of seeming challenges.
