President Mahama Warns Trouble Rousers Ahead Of December Elections

President John Mahama, has warned that anyone who engages in any activities that has the tendency to mar the December 7 elections will be dealt with according to the law. 

He said as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces he has directed that adequate security personnel are deployed across the country to maintain the peace and ensure security of citizens. 

President Mahama, also announced a new ferry for the people of Dambai in the coming weeks. 

The President gave the assurance at separate rallies as part of his four day campaign tour of the Volta region. 

President Mahama interacted with the people of Dambai and Borae In the Nkwanta East and North Districts. 

President Mahama, announced what probably is the best news ever, the allocation of a new ferry. 

He said the contract for the new ferry has be completed and soon the contractor will start working on it. 

The provision of the ferry was a request made by the Paramount Chief of Okraso  Nana Odam Gyamfi

President Mahama, told the people that elections are not a do or die affair and so they should resist any attempt by some group of people who may want to drag them into causing trouble on Election Day. 

He cautioned that the law will deal with such people

Six months ago when President Mahama was in Dambai to inaugurate the Dambai- Worawora road, Nana Gyamfi appealed to the President to assist the District Assembly to settle some compensation issues regarding the construction of a market.  

Nana Gyamfi thanked government for helping to defray the cost of more than one million ghana cedis 

The people of Dambai will not only benefit from a new community day school but also Solar plants to light up island communities and farmer service centre.
