200 health professionals to move to Dwarf Island to provide health care

The World Health Organization estimates that over four million more health workers are needed to bridge the healthcare delivery gap world-wide. 

Of this number, Africa alone needs about 1.5 million.

To improve access to healthcare in under served communities, two hundred health professionals are moving to the dwarf island at Afram Plains in the eastern region, to provide critical care directly to those in need.
