The Daily Graphic says in our quest to champion democracy as a country, we should be reminded that rules, regulations and laws must work. The paper expresses concern that with this principle, it is shocked about the increasing tension between the disqualified political parties and the Electoral Commission and suggests that dialogue and negotiations to solve the issue. Going forward, the Graphic encourages the EC to apply the law to the latter and also urged political parties to play the game with harmony in order to ensure peace.

The Ghanaian Times also agrees with the Daily Graphic on the need for the EC and the disqualified parties to work towards achieving national peace and cohesion. The Times however says it is unforgivable for some of the disqualified parties not to have gotten their forms rightly filled. This, the Times believes is shameful and calls for proper voter education at all levels. 

The Daily Heritage on the other hand is calling for support in terms of finance and logistics to help address mental health issues. The high number of mentally challenged persons roaming the streets of Accra is alarming and this the Heritage believes calls for quick and urgent attention.
