Government calls on GET FUND to prioritise new universities Government says it has asked GET FUND to prioritise the new universities and provide them with the needed assistance. President Mahama, who stated this, announced that an application has been sent to expand a Korean Exim grant facility to also provide campuses with state of the art infrastructure for the University of Health and Allied sciences in Ho, University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani and the upcoming university of Environment and Sustainable Development in the Eastern Region. President Mahama, was interacting with students of the University of Energy and Natural Resources as he rounded up his four day tour of the Brong Ahafo region. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Harrison Kwame Dapaah, said though the school has received enough support it still faces some teething problems. President Mahama said he will work with the university to set up an office at the university to assist him in his work as co-chair of the Sustainable Development Goals. GBC
