Tourism sector charged to make security paramount

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, has reiterated the need for tourism centers in the country to be well protected since the sector is facing some terrorist attacks in the sub-region.

He entreated stakeholders in the tourism industry to collaborate with security agencies to establish police posts at tourist sites across the country.

This, he noted, will go a long way to create a safe business environment to boost the sector.

Mr Afotey Agbo was speaking at the opening ceremony of the first Tourism Safety and Security Initiative (TOSS) Exhibition and Conference in Accra.
