Fire burns 3 children to death at Nkwanta Three children were burnt to death this morning when fire ravaged their home in Nkwanta in the Volta Region. According to our correspondent Micah Tulevor, the father of the children, Kwesi Bediako had gone to the market to sell some premix fuel which he deals in, when his wife lit a match to boil palm oil. Unfortunately, the spark ignited the premix which spread to other seven barrels and exploded burning the children who were asleep in the process. The Krachi Divisional Police Commander, Kwame Nkrumah Akumia said the police have started investigating the incident in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service. Superintendent Akumia said the investigation will establish whether it was legal for the man to store the barrels of premix in his room. More update soon. GBC
