Minister calls for measures to check abuse of women by peacekeepers

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Hannah Tetteh says, it is sad that women’s right are abused during peace keeping operations by some African peacekeepers on the continent.

She therefore called on the AU to put measures in place to address the occurrence.

Madam Tetteh said this at a Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 53rd anniversary of the African Union in Accra.
