Ghana receives 22 million Euro grant to fight TB The fight against Tuberculosis has been given a boost with the signing of about 22 million Euro grant between Ghana and the Netherlands. Seven-point-five-six million Euros of the amount will be used to provide infrastructure in both public and private hospitals. Signing on behalf of Ghana, the Minister of Health, Alex Segbefia said fifty two digital imaging systems, consisting of a combination of fixed units and mobile clinics will be installed in hospitals across the country to help in the early detection of the disease. According to him TB if detected early will help curb the spread. GBC
