28% increase in road accidents recorded in first quarter 

The PRO of the National Road Safety Commission, Kwame Atuahene, says the country has recorded 28 percent increase in road accidents in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year. 

He told George Ankrah that the situation is of concern to the Commission. 

Mr. Atuahene asked drivers and all road users to support  the Commission in its educational efforts against  accidents in order to save lives.
