Government to construct ultra modern inspection facility at Kotoka

To help reverse the ban on the exportation of some vegetables and fruits to the EU and other markets, an ultra modern inspection facility is to be constructed at the Kotoka International Airport. 

Taking his turn at the "Meet The Press Series" in Accra, the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Alhaji Limuna Muniru, said the facility will improve the inspection of vegetable and fruit before export. 

He added that a task-force has also been set up to work towards the lifting of the ban of some vegetables exported to the European Union Market.
