JB’s murder: Two accused charged with murder and abetment The two persons accused of murdering former MP for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu have been charged with murder and abetment. This follows a withdrawal of the old charges presented to court by the prosecution. Counsel for the accused persons, Augustine Obour argued that per the fact sheet there is no basis for connecting the second accused person to the case in respect of abetment because the charge sheet did not explain that. The Prosecutor Superintendent Francis Baah explained that the second accused person Vincent Bosso assisted Daniel Asiedu to commit the crime. The Court presided over by Steven Owusu ruled that per the facts it explains the particulars of the charge by using the word "assisted" which is broad. The Court admitted and remanded the two accused persons into police custody and they are to reappear on the second of next month. In a related development, the second accused person Vincent Bosoo has been accused of stealing GH20 at a police station where he is being kept. Reports from the police say he took the money from the counter of the police station Wednesday morning when he was being brought to court. Upon a search in the Court room, the said GH¢20 was found on him but he denied stealing it insisting a police officer gave it to him. GBC
