National Malaria Control Programme to distribute treated nets from May 16th to May 20th

The National Malaria Control Programme will from the 16th to 20th of this month register households within the Greater Accra Region for distribution of long lasting insecticide treated nets. 

More than 2.6 million nets will be distributed within the five day exercise. 

So far eight regions have already benefited from the exercise. 

Speaking at a news Conference in Accra, the Deputy Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Djanmah Vanderpuye, said the house-to-house registration is aimed at getting more communities and individuals to possess insecticide treated nets.
