GJA Says No To 2016 Awards Entry Extension Deadline

The Ghana Journalists Association, GJA says it will not extend the deadline for the receipt of entries for this year`s awards. 

A statement signed by the General Secretary, David Agbenu said all prospective entrants, and members of the public who wish to submit nominations to the Awards Committee for the 2016 edition must submit their entries before Monday, 16th May 2016 at 5 pm. 
 
The statement said the refusal to extend the deadline is to allow the Awards Committee have enough time to do its work in terms of selection of award winners. 

The 21st GJA Awards is slated for Saturday, 20th August 2016 at the Banquet Hall State House.
