High cost of electricity hamper operations of small Town Water Systems 

One common problem facing operators of Small Town Water Systems in the Brong Ahafo region is the high cost of electricity. 

This came to light when the Members of the Board of Directors of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency touring the region were briefed on the operations of the water systems. 

During their visit to the Kintampo Municipality, the Manager of the Kintampo Small Towns Water System, Salifu Nuhu, said most of the systems will collapse if something drastic is not done.

The board's visit to the Region, took them to Sunyani, Tano North, Sene East, Kintampo and Techiman North.
