Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni sworn -in for fifth term

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has been sworn in for a fifth term as President. 

He has also been handed the instruments of power - the constitution, the coat of arms, the flag and the shield and sword.

The 71-year-old  Museveni, has ruled Uganda for three decades. 

Several African leaders, including Sudan's Omar al-Bashir, South Africa's Jacob Zuma, Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe and Tanzania's John Magufuli  witnessed  the ceremony.
