NDC Bolgatanga East Constituency leadership calls for peaceful 2016 elections The Leadership of the NDC in the Bolgatanga East Constituency has re-echoed the need for traditional rulers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, political parties and the media in ensuring peace before, during and after the November polls. They said the constituency and the region at large can only make strides in the area of development if the peace they are currently enjoying is maintained. They said the leadership of the party in the constituency will allow the law to take its course should in case any of the party faithful is caught in any acts that could bring the peace into disrepute. The Bolgatanga East Constituency NDC Vice Chairman, Isaac Azure, who made the disclosure to Radio Ghana news, said plans are far advanced in uniting the party ahead of the upcoming November general elections. He urged political parties and the media to ensure a peaceful electioneering campaign and credible general election. He asked politicians to refrain from personal attacks and pleaded with them to learn to accept corrections from the Clergy and other distinguished political figures and opinion leaders, whenever they go wrong.
