Victims of Abompe dynamite explosion receive final LEAP payment

Victims of the Abompe dynamite explosion in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality of the Eastern Region, Wednesday received the last payment of the livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty, LEAP, grant under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.  

About 655 households were affected. The payment was done in three phases. 

The Deputy Minister at the Ministry, Mrs. Dela Sowah said the Ministry did an extensive work  to cover all the victims.
