CPP flagbearer Greenstreet disappointed at EC

The Convention People’s Party, CPP, flagbearer, Ivor Greenstreet has expressed disappointment at the Electoral Commission, EC, for failing to honour its promise to address challenges persons with disability encounter at the ongoing Limited Voter Registration. 

He said in some of the centers visited in parts of the Western and Ashanti Regions, 60 percent of such persons are assisted. But was quick to add, that more needs to be done.

The President of the Ghana Blind Union, Aishaytu Ibrahim said some of the physically challenged people are not satisfied with the provision the Electoral Commission has made in some polling stations. 

She urged the EC to look for accessible places for the disabled so that they can register and vote in peace.
