Millennium Development Authority on ECG privatization Government's recent decision to facilitate private sector participation in the ECG has received varied reactions from a cross section of Ghanaians. Some expressed the fear that the decision is a conditional privatization, while others think the ECG is up for sale. In the midst of all these, Radio Ghana has been finding out from the Communication and Outreach Director of the Millennium Development Authority, MIDA, Pamela Djamson-Tetteh, how the MIDA compact two relates to ECG's operations. She said the ECG is to be opened up for private sector participation. Mrs. Djamson-Tetteh said the injection of capital into the operations of the ECG will make the company more efficient and also create more jobs opportunities. GBC
