Supreme Court dismisses evidence submitted by Abu Raamadan

The Supreme Court has refused to admit into evidence a recording submitted by lawyer for Abu Ramadan who is challenging the credibility of the voters' register. 

The Lawyer, Nana Asante Bediatuo wanted to tender into evidence a recording in which the Electoral Commission purportedly admitted that it had no means to ascertain what type of national identification a voter used in registering. 

Nana Asante Bediatuo believed that this new evidence could have supported their case but the Supreme Court dismissed it and said it had already fixed next Thursday for judgement on the suit. 

Counsel for the EC, Thaddeus Sory told the court in response to a question that it can use a manual process to determine the percentage of voters who used the various national identification cards for the registration. 

But Nana Asante Bediatuo said what the Commission told the Court contradicts the information they received from the EC during a meeting they had  on the advice of the court.
