MOH reactivates Cholera Prevention and Response Plans

The Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service have reactivated the Cholera Prevention and Response Plans to fight any possible cholera outbreak this year as the rains set in. 

At the launch of a National Cholera Prevention campaign in Accra, the Minister of Health, Alex Segbefia said cholera alert has been sent to all Regional and District health facilities for prompt action. So far, one case has been recorded but it has been contained.
