Security forces take over Nigeria FA Police in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, have taken over the offices of the country's Football Federation, NFF. No one, including staff, is being allowed to enter the building. The Police have refused to give further details as to why the headquarters has been seized. But reports say the authorities want to remove Amaju Pinnick as President of NFF. The crisis started after a court ruled last Thursday that the Head of NFF, Amaju Pinnick lost the top post to Chris Giwa in elections in September 2014. Meanwhile, World football governing FIFA has warned that Nigeria will be suspended from all football-related activities should Amaju Pinnick be removed as President of the Federation. FIFA says if the court ruling is implemented, it will amount to interference in the internal affairs of the NFF. SOURCE: BBC news
