Concerns raised over high rate of diabetes 

The Minister of Health, Alex Segbefia has raised concerns over the high rate of Diabetic cases in the country. 

Speaking at the World Health Day in Accra on behalf of the President John Dramani Mahama, Mr. Segbefia said out of the estimated 422 million diabetic patients in the world, Ghana records three million cases, with 34 percent deaths.  

He assured Ghanaians of government's resolve to tackle the disease and other non-communicable diseases.
