Queenmother of Ada pushes for good governance in land acquisition

The paramount Queen of Ada, Naana Kabukuor Dumaaley has called for the qualities of good governance like transparency and accountability to reflect in the acquisition of land on a large scale for investment purposes. 

Naana Kabukuor stressed the need to respect the critical role of traditional authorities in land acquisition because they control a large portion of land in the country. 

This makes them the first point of call in land acquisition. 

She said this at the launch of the Responsible Investment in Property and land Project in Accra.
