Government to construct five district hospitals -President Mahama 

President Mahama has announced the construction of five more district hospitals and one Polyclinic across the country.  

He said the retooling of existing health facilities and refurbishing of wards at the cost of 264 million dollars are geared towards extending healthcare to the doorstep of Ghanaians.  

President Mahama said this when he inaugurated the Shai Osudoku District Hospital at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.
