The remaining seven are still on admission at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital. The Upper East Regional Minister, Albert Abongo has visited the injured and has also held a meeting with the Regional Police Command. Meanwhile, calm has been restored to Bolgatanga in Upper East following chieftaincy clashes in the area Sunday which left about eight people injured. According to our Correspondent, Samuel Ayaamah, the Regional Minister, Albert Abongo directed the Regional Police Commander DCOP Simone Afeku to send in more security officers from Bawku and Tamale to beef up security. Mr Abongo said he is yet to meet the two royal gates to talk to them on the need to sustain peace in the region.
