South Africa's Parliament to debate Zuma's impeachment motion South Africa's Parliament will Tuesday debate a motion to impeach President Jacob Zuma. The debate comes after anti-apartheid veteran Ahmed Kathrada joined opposition leaders to call for Mr. Zuma's resignation. The South African President had ignored orders from the public prosecutor to return about 16 million dollars in state funds that he used to renovate his mansion in Nkandla situated in the KwaZulu-Natal province. Last Friday, 73-year-old Zuma in a televised address apologised saying he will pay back some of the money, as ordered. He said he never knowingly or deliberately set out to violate the constitution.
