Sanitation in Upper West Region expected to improve after presentation of sanitation equipment

Sanitation in the Upper West Region is expected to be enhanced following the presentation of sanitation equipment to selected Municipal and District Assemblies in the Region by Zoom Lion Ghana. 

The equipment are to help the beneficiary districts in waste collection and disposal. 

They are made up of eight skip trucks, sixty-six tricycles, two hundred and twenty-two bicycles and twenty-two motorbikes. 

Presenting the equipment to the MMDAs the Regional Minister Alhaji Amidu Sulemani said observing good sanitation should be on daily basis and not weekly or monthly. 

This will reduce drastically sanitation related diseases which leads  to low productivity.
