The Daily Graphic reflects on President Mahama's massage on Good Friday at the Light House Chapel's Miracle Service at the Black Star Square in Accra. President Mahama asked Ghanaians to revel in the successes of the country instead of over concentrating on its challenges. The Graphic says much as it agrees with the President that there is a lot to be thankful for, there still remains the issue of corruption embezzlement and misappropriation of funds. The paper urges Ghanaians to discuss and debate issues of national interest dispassionately because it is the only way issues can be dealt with. The Graphic also calls on President Mahama to do all in his power to unite the country. 

The Ghanaian Times commends the Ghana Police Service for the good work they are doing. The paper says the service is doing well in maintaining peace and security in the country. It calls on other bodies to follow the good path of the police. According to the Times, even though there have been lapses in the operations of the police personnel, the service deserve to be extolled for their selfless devotion to duty, despite the numerous challenges. According to the paper, the tour by IGP, John Kudalor and his top hierarchy including the Commissioner of Police in charge of operations, Christian Yohunu to assess the situation of personnel and sensitise them to their responsibilities has spurred them to effectively discharge their duties.

The Daily Heritage says as the country prepares for the November polls, the two main political parties NDC and NPP have been flooding the media with all manner of accusations thereby raising unnecessary tension in the country. The paper says these acts must be guarded for a peaceful election because the country must move on with or without them. The Heritage encourages the two main political parties to show some level of decorum in their comments. Leaders of political parties must also be proactive and advise their members and communicators to exhibit civility in their utterances.
