Eastern Regional NDC Decries Decision By Okyeman Council To Ban Two Regional Officers The Eastern Regional Secretariat of the NDC says it is surprised at a decision by the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin and his traditional council to ban two of the party's regional officers from stepping foot in Ofori Panin fie. The two banned are the Chairman Bismark Tawiah Boateng and Youth organiser Haruna Wiredu, who are said to have insulted and made disrespectful comments against the Okyehene. In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC, Kevor Mark-Oliver said the current impasse is unhealthy for the co-existence of the NDC as a party, and the Abuakwa State as well as the country's politics and development. Meanwhile, the Assistant State Secretary to the Akyem Abuakwa State, Daniel Ofori Atta says the ban is due to the gross misconduct and lack of respect by the NDC Eastern Regional Executives for Nananom. He re-countered the genesis of the impasse between the Eastern NDC Executives and the Akyem Abuakwa State. GBC
