Parliament beefs up security ahead President Mahama's state of Nation address


Parliament has beefed up security ahead of President Mahama’s State of the nation address. 

The Majority Leader Alban Bagbin said as part of the measures, the Eastern gate behind the OSU cemetery will be permanently closed. He said admission into the chamber block of parliament will be strictly by invitation. 

He entreated the Members of Parliament and the public to adhere to the steps put in place to ensure the security of all.
