Bill to establish new EXIM bank before parliament 

The Ghana Export-Import Bank Bill 2015 has been read a second time.

A Deputy Minister of Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson, said the export sector has developed significantly in recent times with the export of non-traditional commodities being on the increase. 

He said as promised in last year’s budget, government intends to set up the bank in order to have a more diversified economy.
