Cape Coast stadium to be completed this year 


Work on  the  Cape Coast Sports Complex is scheduled to be  completed  this year and handed over to the government on the 31st of January 2016 Contractors working on the project are putting finishing touches and are also in the process of mounting and fixing the main arena floodlights at the stadium before the handing over of the facility.  

The 30 million dollar 16 thousand seater facility is being  financed with a grant from the Chinese government.

This came to light  when the  Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mustapha Ahmed, the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Sun Boahong and the Central Regional Minister, AQuinas Tawiah Quansah  toured the facility to inspect progress of work before the  final handing over ceremony.
