Five hundred recruits booted out of Ghana Armed Forces Training School for insubordination About 500 military recruits have been dismissed from the Ghana Armed Forces Training School at Shia Hills for insubordination. The recruits who were sent home last week were said to have staged an unauthorised demonstration complaining that the training amounted to maltreatment. They dressed up in their outing attire and marched to the instructors accommodation, demanding to be sent home because the training was strenuous. According to the Ghana Armed Forces, the action by the recruits was followed by other insubordinate behaviour the same day. GBC
