Imposition of curfew in Bunkprugu Township


Minister of interior has on the advice of the Northern Regional Security Council (NRCC) and by executive instrument, renewed curfew hours in the Bunkprugu Township from 8pm to 6am effective Tuesday, December 29, 2015.

This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy Sector Minister, James Agalga and copied to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC).

The statement said Government is urging Chiefs, opinion leaders, Youth and people of the area to exercise restraint in the face of challenges and use non-violent means to address issues and channel their energies into insuring peace in the area. 


GBC
