Explosion at Nsawam

There has been an explosion at a quarry site on the Nsawam Adeiso road. 

The area is called Fankyeneko near Obom-Domeabra.

According to an eye witness, Ishmael Agyeman, the blast occurred at Piabo Quarry when some young men who went hunting for bush meat set the bush on fire thus resulting in the explosion.


Mr Agyeman said one death and some injuries have been recorded. 

He said the injured were rushed to the Nsawam
government hospital.
