Two NPP members arrested over "rampage" at party headquarters 

Two members of the , of the New Patriotic Party believed to be members of  “Invisible Forces” a private support security have been detained by the police to assist in investigations of the chaotic incident that occurred at the party's headquarters last Wednesday.

This was after the Accra Regional Police Command had given the party a 24hour ultimatum to produce the suspects.

Speaking on an Accra based radio Joy FM, on Thursday, the Accra Regional Police Command, ASP Afia Tenge said investigations are under way into the incident and suspects will be charged accordingly.

“We had the leadership of the NPP being led by John Boadu, Acting General Secretary and they came with the two persons that they identified in the photograph, and as I speak to you they have reported to the police.” she said.

She called on eye witnesses to come forward with information that will assist the police in their investigations.

On Wednesday, the Asylum down headquarters of the party descended into chaos when some supporters believed to be members of the invisible forces chased journalists, some party supporters and also destroyed some properties.
