67th Annual New Year School launched in Accra The Dean of the School of Continuing and Distance Education, College of Education -University of Ghana, Professor Oheneba-Sakyi has tasked stakeholders in health to resort to I.C.T to bridge the gap between health providers and patients. He said it is practically impossible to bridge the present patient-health provider ratio gap, hence, the need to use technology to keep people healthy and ensure sustained growth in the health sector. In line with this, the Institute of Continuing and Distance Education has supplied Tablets to distance students pursuing nursing to enhance learning. Prof Oheneba-Sakyi announced this at a media launch of the 67th Annual New Year School and Conference slated for the 10th to 14th of January, next year at the main campus of the University of Ghana-Legon.
