Peter Mac Manu leads NPP 2016 election campaign team 


The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed Former National Chairman, Peter Mac Manu to lead its campaign team for the 2016 election.  

Mr. Mac Manu will be assisted by former General Secretary and MP for Okere, Dan Botwe.  

The others are former CEO of Data Bank, Ken Ofori Attah who is to lead the logistics team as well as Boakye Agyarko who led the campaign during the last election.  

Deputy General Secretary Nana Obiri Boahene has been speaking on the composition of the campaign team as well as the extraordinary delegates Congress scheduled to take place in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region on Saturday

Meanwhile, the suspended Chairman Paul Afoko is in court seeking an injunction on the congress.  

According to Mr. Afoko, some members of NEC want to use the congress to remove him from office even before the court rules on his suit challenging his purported suspension.  

The injunction application is slated to be heard this afternoon.
