Government gives pharmaceutical companies $50m to manufacture drugs locally

President John Mahama says government has committed $50 million for pharmaceutical companies to manufacture drugs locally especially antiretrovirals.

He said this is to empower them to export and not always import these drugs. 

President Mahama also called on banks to give access to credit that is affordable to business men.
