$1bn Eurobond hits accounts of Bank of Ghana The one billion Eurobond dollar money has hit the accounts of Bank of Ghana. A source at the Bank who confirmed this said the over-subscription of the Euro bond is an indication of investor confidence in the Ghanaian economy. It explained that proceeds would be used for the refinancing of maturing domestic debt. Ghana issued its fourth Eurobond of one billion dollar at a coupon rate of 10.75 percent. The bond was issued after an eight-day Roadshow that took the Ghana team led by Minister of Finance Seth Terkper and Dr. Henry Kofi Wampah, Governor of the Bank of Ghana to London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and New York.
