GBC’s Garden City Radio to Host President Mahama In Exclusive Interview Today


President John Mahama will today grant an exclusive interview to GBC's Garden  City Radio at 9 am as part of his three day visit to the Eastern and Ashanti Regions. 

This will be the third  time in two months that  President Mahama will be granting such an exclusive interview to the state broadcaster, GBC.

He will be quizzed on the economy,the energy sector as well as  his manifesto pledge.It will be carried on all GBC's FM stations across the country. 

Speaking in an interview with Radio Ghana the Acting Ashanti Regional Director of GBC Sam Kwatia said the staffs are excited to host President Mahama since it is the first time a sitting President will be hosted by the station.
 
President  Mahama will also break grounds for the redevelopment of the Kumasi Central Market and the Kejetia Lorry Terminal.  

Phase one of the project will focus  on construction of the terminal and phase two and three will be on the market. 

A Brazilian construction firm has arrived in Kumasi to execute the three-phase project. The market in recent times had been engulfed by fire, resulting in the loss of property running into millions of cedis.

President Mahama is in Kumasi on a working visit.
