Power plants to arrive at Takoradi port October 24 Deputy Executive Director of the Centre for Energy Policy, Benjamin Boakye, says the injection of 250 megawatts of power into the energy mix by the Barge Plants will bring significant improvement and impact on the generation and distribution of power. According to him, as stakeholders the center is happy that serious efforts have been made to reverse the crisis. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Boakye said the Centre for Energy Policy only hopes that the Power Plants will arrive on the promised day and installed on time to support the system. On the rescheduling of the $181m debt payment to WAPCO, Mr Boakye said the way forward is for the VRA and ECG to be efficient with their billing system and general operations. GBC
