Government Meets Nigerian Counterpart To Avert Cut in Gas Supply Reports reaching GBC’s Radio Ghana say negotiations are still on going with the Nigerian government to avert the possible cut of gas supply to Ghana if the Volta River Authority (VRA) fails to honour its indebtedness to N-Gas by midnight. Head of Public Affairs at the Ministry of Power, Kwaku Sessah Johnson said Ghanaians should keep calm as negotiations are still on -going to ensure a steady supply of gas. The Ghanaian government sent a delegation to Nigeria, following the ultimatum issued by the West Africa Gas Pipeline Company (WAGPCo), to the VRA and the government for the payment of the 181 million dollars owed it.
