Government urged to pay Journalists well

Government has been asked to consider the welfare of  Journalists working with the state media and pay them  well to encourage them to educate the people on government policies timely and  accurately.

According to the leader of the  United Renaissance Party, Kofi Wayo the way  private media houses  put out  sensational stories  is not the best.

He said journalists in the state media perform a very important function for the government and the citizenry therefore they must be well resourced.
